High School- Captained Garfield HS team that earned a state championship appearance, where he posted a 20-4 record with a 1.60 ERA. Batted .420 his senior year and named Team MVP. Made First Team All-League and All-County Honorable Mention his senior year.
College- Attended Southern New Hampshire University from 2013-2016. In two seasons he fanned 116 hitters in 107 innings while pitching to a 3.20 ERA. In 2016, Justin went 10-3 with a 2.89 ERA in 81 innings and punching out 91.
Professional- Drafted 15th round by the Colorado Rockies in the 2016 MLB draft as a pitcher. Played for the Rockies organization for three seasons. Played the 2019 season with the Rockland Boulders. Played the 2022 Season with the Boise Hawks in the Pioneer League.
