WHO ARE WE?
This year we are proud to announce the North Jersey Diamondbacks!
Our Staff has over 20 years of experience in building successful Club Programs not only locally but throughout the entire nation!
The North Jersey Diamondbacks Program is for the totally committed athlete and parents. This program was built to develop and help athletes an opportunity to enhance their skills and abilities and also gain exposure to having an opportunity to play at the highest level.
The Mission of the coaching staff is to inspire and develop young athletes so that they are put able to realize their goals in life both on and off the field. We approach coaching through what we like to call the “3 E’s” – Energy, Effort and Enthusiasm. This philosophy enables a player to develop both the physical and mental aspects of the game of baseball.
Team Structure: Each team will have 1 head coach and 1 either dedicated assistant or floating assistant. We strive to have roster sizes of 11-14. This may vary +/- 1 from time to time based on player availability. We want to afford every player the opportunity to play as much as possible.
Expectations on Commitment: Our staff is dedicated to every athlete within the program. Given that, we expect the same level of commitment in return. We are advocates of players playing in their local recreational leagues however, we expect that the Diamondbacks will be the primary baseball commitment.
Program Length: The program is built into four seasons Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer. After the fall Athletes will be invited into our winter program and that will help them get prepared for the Spring and Summer Seasons.
Program Culture: We are firm believers in a culture of nurtured accountability. What this means is, we will teach each player what accountability to self and team is about and as they progress in age within our program, the level of accountability changes accordingly. We will be honest, transparent, communicative and consistent in everything we do. We will strive to eliminate any confusion between player/coach and parent. This will be a culture of everybody being on the same page so that the focus can be on the players 100% of the time.
